A task force comprised of DEA agents, FBI agents, Maverick County Sheriff Deputies, and Eagle Pass Police Officers arrested two men who had been selling drugs at the corner of Eidson Road and Potro Street Tuesday afternoon.
The police presence drew large amounts of attention within the neighboring area as onlookers witnessed the event.
According to Sheriff Tom Schmerber, Eric Hernandez and Ricardo Rodrigo Rodriguez, who were conducting the illegal business out of their elote stand, were taken into custody by DEA and transferred to Del Rio.
The case is currently under investigation.
