Heavy traffic congestion on the north side along Del Rio Blvd and Highway N. 277 for most of the day on Monday caused a big headache for commuters who use these streets to navigate to and from work and back home.

Reports of alligators in the Rio Grande River began stirring up once again last week. A local resident who was out fishing along the Rio Grande River was able to capture a video of a large alligator swimming along the banks of the Rio Grande River. The alligator in the video can be heard making a bellowing grunting sound which is used to attract a female alligator.

The Eagle Pass Waterworks System Board of Trustees held a meeting on Wednesday in which they discussed and reviewed information regarding water availability and to possibly go into stage 2 restrictions.
