The Eagle Pass Eagles not only ended the drought, as has been the battlecry for the last few seasons in the locker room, they had a watershed event that catapulted the Eagles to a share of the District 29-AAAAAA Championship with a 30-0 wash over rival Del Rio Friday night in the Queen City.

The CC Winn Mavericks ended their District 29-AAAAA slate on Friday against a stout Uvalde Coyote squad, where the Maroon and White came away with a convincing 27-6 victory.
