DEL VALLE, Texas (AP) — Investigators say four men whose bodies were found in a burned-out Central Texas home died in apparent drug-related slayings.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office on Monday identified the victims whose bodies were discovered last Thursday at a house in Del Valle (del VAL'-ee), about 13 miles southeast of Austin.

Authorities have not released causes of death for 26-year-old Matthew Aaron Barber of Del Valle, plus three Bastrop men — 25-year-old David Scott Braswell, 25-year-old Jacob Derr and 41-year-old Brian Lee Satterfield.

Officials say the victims had wounds not consistent with death by fire. A sheriff's department statement Monday said evidence indicates the buying and selling of drugs was a key factor leading to the deaths.

No arrests have been announced.
